The PrintVie.com Online Designer makes it easy to create professional artwork directly in your browser. You can start with a template, customize an existing design, or create your own artwork using text, images, shapes, backgrounds, and other design elements.

Start by selecting the product you want to order from PrintVie.com. Depending on the product, you may be given the option to upload your own artwork or use the Online Designer.
If the Designer option is available, select it to open the design interface. Some products may also offer pre-designed templates that you can customize.
The Designer contains several tools that allow you to build and customize your artwork.
Add headings, names, addresses, dates, and other text to your design. Text can generally be moved, resized, formatted, and positioned within the design.
Upload your own photographs, logos, and artwork. Uploaded images can be positioned and resized within the design.
Add basic shapes to create backgrounds, borders, accents, and other graphic elements.
Add or change the background of your design. Backgrounds can be used to create a solid base for your artwork.
Depending on the product and configuration, clipart may be available for adding additional decorative elements to your design.
Start with a pre-designed template and customize the available elements instead of building the entire design from scratch.
Templates are a great way to get started if you don't want to create your design from scratch.
Browse the available designs and select the template that is closest to what you want to create.
Select the elements you are allowed to edit and replace the sample information with your own. Depending on the template, this may include text, images, colours, or other elements.
Make sure your information is correct and that all important elements are positioned correctly before proceeding.
Text is one of the most common elements you'll add to a design.
Select the text tool and add a new text element to your design. Enter the wording you want printed and position it where you need it.
Depending on the available options, you can adjust properties such as font, size, alignment, colour, and other formatting options.
Select the text element and move it to the desired location on the page.
Avoid placing important text too close to the edge of the printable area. Pay attention to the safe and trim guides shown in the Designer.
You can use your own images, photographs, logos, and other artwork where the product allows image uploads.
Use the image option to select an image from your computer and add it to the design.
Move the image to the desired location and resize it as needed.
Make sure your original image is large enough for the intended printed size. Enlarging a small image does not create additional detail and may result in a poor-quality print.
Pay close attention to the guides displayed around your artwork. These guides are there to help you position your design correctly for printing.
Keep important information such as text, logos, faces, and other critical elements safely inside the safe area.
The trim area represents approximately where the finished product will be cut. Small variations during trimming can occur.
Artwork that extends into the bleed area allows the background or images to extend beyond the final trim edge.
Do not place important text or logos directly against the edge of the finished product.
Products such as business cards, brochures, booklets, calendars, and other multi-page products may have multiple pages or printing sides available in the Designer.
Before continuing to checkout, carefully review the complete design.
Look for spelling mistakes, incorrect phone numbers, addresses, dates, names, prices, and other information.
Make sure images are positioned correctly and that they extend far enough when used as backgrounds.
Look around every edge of the design and make sure important content is not too close to the trim.
If your product has multiple pages or sides, review every one before submitting the order.
